This is a picture of my wife Lisa and my son Mattie. Lisa passed in November 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Both of our kids were her pride and joy. Lisa was a big part of Proforma. At Proforma Marblehead we are determined to help others who can relate to our story. That's why we give back a portion of every order to help support the efforts of an organization that directly impacts the lives of people with down syndrome and their families. We want others to share in the joy!
Dimes for Downs started ten years ago when Judy was just twelve years old. When Judy's mother Kim found herself upset and unable to grant a wish due to short funds, Judy wanted to help. She brainstormed that day and Dimes for Downs was born. Now, at the age of 22, Judy has continued to dedicate her life to collecting dimes and helping others. With a goal of one million dimes Judy is working to grant more wishes and needs for individuals living with down syndrome.
To grant wishes and needs to people with Down syndrome; to provide the possibility of a special moment; to enhance the quality of life.
After seeing the love her two children with Down syndrome emanated, founder Kim, was inspired. She knew she wanted to be able to share that love and help others. That's when she began Gifts From The Heart For Downs. Since then, we've worked hard to grow and gain more opportunities to grant wishes for others.
